What I do, is help people get the most out of their lives.
For some that means helping to ease pain and get through times of crisis, which is therapy.For others than means focusing on how to get more out of life, more pleasure, more fulfilment and more happiness, which is coaching. For many it is a combination of both.
Which is why I don’t differentiate between coaching and therapy in my sessions.
I have a non-judgemental and compassionate approach to therapy and life and have a passion for exploring and finding hope in human darkness and suffering. I believe that our darkest moments in life are the places where we lay the seeds for our future happiness. Whilst I utilise a variety of different therapy modalities my main modality is a hybrid of mindfullness, brief therapy and CBT, with a strong emphasis on questioning perspectives, world views and personal accountability.
I am particularly experienced in transgender issues, sex worker issues, LGBTIQ, infidelity, suicidality and narcissistic abuse syndrome.
Individual sessions take place by Skype or telephone and are a full hour. As I prescribe homework in the form of exercises and self-work in between sessions most clients only require an average of 2 sessions to reach full benefits with a check in about 3 months later to insure that changes have lasted.
